It is not too late! Ballet for the elderly
Ballet is a dance that inhabits the imagination of women of all ages. If, on the one hand, it causes enchantment, on the other, it is common to imagine that only very young people can learn. But it's not too late! Aimed at the elderly, it focuses on the introduction to classical ballet associated with body awareness. Careful, sensitive learning, respecting the limits of each student. It provides stretching, posture, flexibility, attention, rhythm and technical improvement.
SUZANA BAYONA is a dance artist and educator of the movement. She has a Master's in Performing Arts from Unicamp / SP, a bachelor's degree and a dance degree from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi / SP and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from PUCRS. As a dancer, she has training in contemporary, modern dance and classical ballet. His professional performance is characterized by combining dance with somatic education and self-care. In classical ballet, he started his studies at the age of six at the Vera Bublitz / RS Ballet School. For seven years he has been perfecting the methodology of the Center for Ballet Studies / SP (Italian school / Cecchetti and technician Klauss Vianna).
